Grants and Financial Aid

Riviera International School

provides preliminary information about the scholarship competition for students in grades 6–11 🎓✨

All applicants must meet the following main criteria:

Citizenship and Enrollment Status

  • Must be a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  • Must be enrolled in an institution of secondary education.

Language Proficiency

  • Fluent command of the state language.

  • Knowledge of a foreign language at a level not lower than B1 according to the CEFR scale.

  • Possession of certificates (KazTest, IELTS, TOEFL iBT, DELF/DALF, Goethe-Zertifikat, HSK) will be considered an advantage.

Academic Performance

  • Grades not lower than “good” and “excellent” in all subjects
    (or the equivalent grades according to the official grading scale of the previous country of study).

  • Grade Point Average (GPA):

    • not lower than 4.7 – for applicants in the “Academic Achievements” category;

    • not lower than 4.5 – for applicants in other categories.

The timeline of the competition for scholarships for the 2026–2027 academic year will be announced closer to May.
